Founded in 1942, the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) has a rich history of facilitating Christian unity, public witness and cooperative ministry among evangelical denominations, congregations, educational institutions and service agencies in the United States.

The association represents more than 45,000 local churches from over 40 different denominations and serves a constituency of millions.

The NAE serves to make denominations strong and effective, to influence society for justice and righteousness, and to gather the many voices of evangelicals together to be more effective for Jesus Christ and his cause.
